Elen Turner is a New Zealand-based travel writer and editor (at present) who is married to a Nepali and goes back at every chance. She worked in the media and travel industry in Nepal before returning to New Zealand. She’s the co-author of two Lonely Planet guidebooks to New Zealand (one forthcoming) and hundreds of travel articles on Nepal, India, New Zealand, and beyond.
